There's no fixed number — it varies cycle to cycle based on team needs and applicant pool.

Two general meetings a week cover progress across every subteam and any team-wide action items, on top of each subteam's own weekly meeting. New members are encouraged to attend as many as their schedule allows, but are required to make their subteam's meeting.

Regular attendance at subteam and general meetings, active participation in new-member training, and signing up to help on projects. The more involved you are early, the more you'll get out of later semesters.

Every new member is paired with a sophomore or junior mentor for their first semester. Subteams also run hands-on training in CAD, Altium, welding and fabrication, rapid harnessing, composites, and more.

Yes — new members have free rein to explore across all systems before ranking their top three subteam choices the following year.

The business team runs socials throughout the year — paintball, concerts, go-karting, dinners — plus an annual Halloween party and a post-January-Manufacturing dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Members also organize their own hangouts, from boba runs to just doing homework together in the shop.

No. We're looking at the applicant, not the major — if you're willing to learn and commit, there's a place for you on the team.

The business subteam runs the website, merchandise, alumni network, social media, sponsor relations, and fundraising — and the cost/business case is a real, judged part of competition.
